Everybody WANg chung tonight
/You know the classic children's book "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie"? Well, here we go...
If you take a girl to Alexander Wang in the middle of Winter , she will dream of Spring and all the joy it brings.
She will be enticed by the new collection. She will spot the one pink item in the store, even though she usually stays away from that color.
She will be psyched the pink is paired with leather. She will piss her pants over the wide scale sleeves. She will think of the 80's. She will recall Alyssa Milano and Fergie, when she starred on Kids Incorporated.
She will try on the top and need to own it. It is pink, it is leather, it is comfortable. She may buy other items as well. As a result, she will receive a free gift from the store. The gift will be pencils. She will treasure them regardless of her slight disappointment. They are, after all, from Alexander Wang.
She may use aforementioned pencils to doodle, while on hold with her kids' pediatrician and the cable company. She will smile because this means she is a valued customer.
She will occasionally wonder what the F she will pair with the pink top, certain the right occasion will reveal itself. She will be ready as always.
She may eventually start a blog, in which she will write fashion posts. She will henceforth use the top in a photo shoot. She will need to write about the pinkness of the top, so she will naturally rush to Party City.
She will find herself in the pink party supply isle. She will purchase every bright and pale pink item she can find, namely various types of pink candy. She is thinking. She is inspired. She will use the pink items as part of the photo shoot to establish a mood, create a vignette about the color.
She will win points with her kids for unloading bags of candy and jelly beans on the kitchen counter. She may then artfully arrange the candy in different shaped glass jars for presentation. She will fan out the pink napkins. She will feel like an event planner at a bat mitzvah.
She will like this feeling. She will be overjoyed at the happy, fresh vibe she has created, all from just purchasing this special piece of clothing. She is reminded to embrace color once in awhile. After all, black candy is gross.
She will make preemptive dentist appointments for her kids, knowing the amount of candy they're about to consume. It happens, let them enjoy. At the end of the shoot, she will feel creatively fulfilled, having turned a post about a shirt into an impromptu party. She will understand the power of a jolt of color on a mostly black landscape.
This is what will happen when you take a girl to Alexander Wang in the middle of Winter๐๐๐
