Mazal Tov
/While understandably the vernacular definition of the words Mazal Tov have come to mean "congratulations", it really means something far more beautiful and special. I heard this only once in my life, a number of years ago, and it made a huge impression on me.
The word "Mazal" in Hebrew means a star🌟, while the word "Tov" means good. So basically, when you wish someone a Mazal Tov, it means you are wishing them that their stars will align well, resulting in good things! That you wish for that person that there are great things written for them in the stars. How nice is that??? Congratulations doesn't even begin to cut it here:).
So know that when you say Mazal Tov, you've really just given someone else quite a wonderful blessing. And I've gotta believe that their stars will whisper to yours what a nice thing you just did, and then your own stars will line up the right way, showering you with some good things too🌟😀
