Suit Yourself

Fire Crouch 🔥

This ensemble was apparently best suited for an abandoned bathroom.  No, really!

Let me start by saying that I randomly popped into Norma Kamali in NYC last year, and I'm not exaggerating when I say it changed my wardrobe. I'm hooked. The clothing is super comfortable, sexy, fun, and wait for it...pack able. It somehow does not wrinkle. I'd say at this point 75% of my wardrobe is comprised of it.

Oh, and it's well priced! I haven't worn red in ages. I've become a very black and white dresser, which I love. So, this pop of vibrant red is most welcome! It's the 2016 resort collection suit, paired with the ruffled crop top from this past summer. It worked together perfectly. Had on leopard Louboutin heels.

The red sole was a cool detail that pulled the look together head to toe.

This look felt super clean and consistent. All the pieces can be worn separately of course. I originally bought the top to wear with jeans. It made me feel like a flamenco dancer. The juxtaposition of the atmosphere here was super cool. Just a cool, fancy lady who lunches standing in a gross bathtub. You did that today, right?

Gold, different sized earrings from Annelise Michaelson look like gilded lettuce leaves. Sign me up. Her stuff is my favorite discovery this year. Found her on IG and she directed me to Five Story to find her rad goods. Red, gold. Done and done. What time are we lunching?
